Sylamore Trail 50k-25k Run

Allison is located along the White River at the junctions of Highways 5, 9, & 14. It is 5.9 miles north of Mountain View. The 50k will begin at 7am and the 25k at 8am.

60th Annual Arkansas Folk Festival

Held since 1963, the event attracts thousands of people to the small mountain community, where the livelihood of many residents is based on tourism. The town has become nationally renowned for its folk music, and the downtown area is a popular place for impromptu “pickins” as musicians gather informally to perform.

Caroling in the Caverns

 This Christmas concert of area musicians performing seasonal carols in the Majestic Cathedral room is a must attend event which sells out each year. The combination of music and the acoustically perfect Cathedral Room at Blanchard Caverns is "a natural."
